Why choose this course?
We are constantly exposed to geographical issues in everyday life, including: environmental concerns; natural disasters; world weather; local developments; urban and rural change; population movements; maps and travel. Students are provided with an opportunity to develop an awareness and understanding of the patterns, processes and relationships that characterise human and physical environments.
During this course you will not only develop subject knowledge but also a broad range of transferable skills, that you will use to investigate the impacts that humans have had on the planet, from a local to a global scale, and will assess the extent to which management of these systems can lead to a sustainable global future.
