Welcome to Business

The Business Studies curriculum aims to develop:

Knowledge and understanding of business concepts and terminology. To fully understand the integrated nature of business activity and the impact on business individuals and other stakeholders. To build on the literary focus of Wombourne High School students and promote the use of key terminology in all circumstances.

To apply knowledge and understanding to contemporary business issues and to different sizes of business and situations in order to suitably prepare students for the structure of the specification exams. To investigate and analyse real bushiness contexts and build well developed, well argued, well justified structured arguments demonstrating a breadth of business knowledge. Where we build inquisitive learners with a passion for the subject and use this to read around the subject and explore wider business issues.  To use quantitate and qualitative skills relevant to business when interpreting data in real world context and support the maths curriculum at Wombourne High School in doing so.  At Wombourne high school we offer GCSE Business, BTEC Enterprise and A Level Business in the sixth form.
